But to try to answer your question anyway: WarCraft 2 isn't for sale legally anywhere, unless you can find an old copy, you'll need to download it from a torrent, or a fan redistribution like (but that's missing the music, which is half the fun of this game). I suspect ZPR is using a torrented ISO of WarCraft 2 Battle.net Edition, but I haven't asked.

For recording, almost everybody uses. Making it windowed was fairly straightforward but making the window nice was a lot more trouble and my solution honestly isn't that good. There are some tools to make full screen games windowed but I couldn't get them to work for wc2. Then I found a hacked dll that did the trick. That dll will make the game run in a bordered 640x480 window that's not rezisable. To get a playable size, I used to make the window borderless and to place it exactly in the top left corner off my screen then zoomed in to 225% with the windows magifying glass tool (480x2.25=1080 so that fits 1080p resolution). Download sophos for mac os x 1058.

Alternatively you could just change your monitor resolution instead of using the magifying glass but I liked this way better once it was set up.

Thank you paroxyzm, The CRC error can usually be the result of different versions of WinRAR being used to unrar newer/older versions. The CRC error in this case appears to be safe to ignore, as it does not affect the files.

If the CRC error prevents you from extracting the files, then try the repair option in WinRAR. If you are still unable to access the files, then please let me know and I will gladly repack the files and upload them using a different version of WinRAR. I am running Windows XP. First it was saying I needed to switch to 640 x 480 and be in 256 colors, so I went into the games properties and set compatibility mode to Windows 98 and checked both run in 256 colors and run in 640 x 480. Now I'm getting a new message. It says: 'Warcraft II Battle.net Edition is unable to read a required file. Your Warcraft II Battle.net Edition CD may not be in the CDROM drive. Please ensure that the disc is in the CDROM drive and press OK.'

The ISO is properly mounted in Daemon tools, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to install it. What's the deal here?
