Environmental Impact Air pollution is caused by many substances in the air, such as nitrogen, carbon monoxide, and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). VOCs are materials which, in the presence of sunlight, are capable of producing ozone gas in the lowest layer of the earth’s atmosphere.

Choose between two available grades of high-quality carbide. Due to its excellent wear resistance and ability to withstand medium shock, the standard grade is recommended for all general purpose applications and is widely used for solid carbide rotary tools. Artco micro-grain carbide represents the latest in premium grade carbide. Its sub-micron grain size, combined with a higher cobalt content and modern Hot Isostacic-Pressing (HIP) process, results in a greatly increased Transverse Rupture Strength (TRS), The end result is a longer tool life, less wear and greater cutting edge retention.
